How do we thank you?

I am a transsexual woman that did a very public coming-out and an expert in social media. Because of my media appearances and my differences, I have had several online death threats as well as numerous harassments and heinous messages. I always build a case that I bring to the police and so far 4 persons have been arrested, 3 convicted, another one pending and I still have ongoing criminal cases (3 to be exact). I feel comfort in reading your website and I am thinking of doing the same in French for my own province. But I feel empty and quite exhausted by all this ordeal. I am still wondering how we can stop this growing destructive phenomenon and since my job is .to be online" I fell I can't escape my tormentors. Thanks for being there... Michelle

You're one heck of a woman Anna! Super important situation anyone on the internet needs to hear about and tell everyone they know about. We invented a technology that's being used to mug, rape, and murder people basically and it's just being allowed to happen. That's not winning and we better get our act together or a lot more people are gonna die. Happy Valentine's Day!

Virtual violent crime is right on. I've been following your story and work on this closely Anna as I am a trauma counselor with a special focus and interest in social mobbing and engineering. Your stance on this topic is fascinating and I believe pioneers the beginnings of our understanding into violent crime existing within a virtual enterprising society. We are evolving online at a rate law enforcement and legislation cannot outpace. Individuals are being murdered via virtual means and methods. It's not unlike a form of mind control via psychological traumatic injury where the perps essentially direct the gun to a victim's head through the sequencing of brutality and humiliation in their campaign. I believe we are looking at a new form of pathology, as you call it, or perhaps an evolved one. Keep up the amazing work and thank you for better equipping me with the knowledge to discuss this topic properly.

I listened to Anna Kavanaugh talking on radio's Social Network and am so impressed with what she has to say. I didn't know about this foundation until listening and will make sure everyone in my circle hears about it. Please continue your good work in this field.

Your organization's work on anti bullying and CyberAbuse is so important and society is only beginning to understand how severe a problem internet abuse has become and how many victims look to suicide for relief. We've looked at this as a child's bullying issue for too long so thank you for bringing the adult voice and perspective into this. I also appreciate your work against GMO's. Illness is on the up and I attribute things like celiac disease and IBS to eating GMO's. God bless you and your continued work.

Sending many thanks to the foundation for your amazing work in ending cyber abuses. I've watched and shared your short public service films. They nail your message perfectly. Keep up the good fight you are making a difference in so many lives who take hope from your work my daughter included.

Your work is very important although its to late to help my family I hope one day all adoptees will have access to family history and medical records. In my situation I tried to get medical history after I became an adult and I was told that all my records were destroyed in a flood, was unable to get anything. I had children, Im now a grandmother of 3 children. My oldest grandson was diagnosed with duchennes muscular dystrophy 4 months ago. Through genetic testing we found I carry the gene and passed it to my daughters. Sons born of carriers have a 50% chance of developing this disease which is 100% fatal. My daughter will watch her son loose mobility, lung and heart function and then his life. I did not have the ability to make an informed decision about having children or the ability to give them that option. The effects that my closed and sealed adoption has caused are still impacting my family 2 generations later, and will continue as my 2 yr old granddaughter who is also a carrier will one day be faced with deciding to have children or not.

My heart breaks for anyone dealing with internet abuse. I watched my cousin go through it and it tore apart his family and close friends. We all suffered from it. I doubt the people who do this realize that, not that they'd care, but they need to understand when they go after someone they're going after a lot of other people too including children a lot of the time. My cousin has 4 kids and they were all really messed up by it. We need a lot of awareness to all this so thanks!

Your work here is wonderful Anna. What can I say but thanks for using your experiences and convictions to help others. It's obvious how much you care. My daughter has been bullied very badly at school and has struggled a lot because of it. She's ok and we got her some psychological support to help deal with it, but we know how many other people aren't ok. Your foundation is a blessing.
